My friend Jacki, a local artist, has her studio in White Whale Studio and Gallery in Greenville. I've been wanting to take some photos of Jacki for a while now, because I love her art, and her studio, but also because she's just wonderful. Jacki and I go to church together and she was my roommate when we went to India this past May. It was fun to have someone who noticed the same kind of light and colors as me...and the same kind of smells. ;) Jacki and her husband, Dave, have 9 grandchildren! They are originally from Nebraska and now live in Simpsonville, SC. I'm sure they like these mild winters compared to harsh bitter cold of Nebraska! I hope you enjoy a tiny glimpse into Jacki's life.
